If you’re in need to get away from tacky chain pubs and drinking joints and require something authentic and traditional, you need to get to The Tailor Public House, Manhatten. This is a truly stunning public house (we won’t say bar), straight from a Hollywood film set, with gilded mirrors, chandeliers, and lovely wood decor throughout. The back bar is magnificent, with a huge variety of draught beers, wines, spirits, and cocktails, and the food is classic, nicely presented American fare. You couldn’t ask for more, in this case.
